The treatment team develops ongoing strategies for each patient and provides a safe place to learn and change. Although the milieu is highly structured, continuous adaptations occur to maximize the ability to achieve desired treatment outcomes. Family involvement is strongly encouraged and has proven to be beneficial to treatment success. Emphasis is placed on creating learning opportunities for our young patients to develop positive coping skills.

Three areas are stressed:

  • Respectful Communication
